For this reason Salmo offers the shallow runner in both sinking and floating models. Our extensive testing of the sinking Bullhead tells us that fish hold tight to bottom in current areas and areas with rocky bottoms. These baits are not designed to dig the bottom like the large lip SDR models; they are made to swim just above the bottom. With sinking models, you gain the flexibility of controlling the depth ranges of the lure with fantastic results.Ideal for casting or trolling, the Bullhead SR (Shallow Runner) models have become the favorite of many walleye anglers who love to use lead-core trolling methods.
